About Langcavi
Langcavi Holdings was born as the brain-child of the founder when he was in Malaysia and was established in Sri Lanka. Few years later its operation spread throughout the UK and Canada.
What is Langcavi? - Langkawi is a Malaysian island - the most beautiful island in South East Asia. The founder of Langcavi started his IT career in Malaysia, and decided to name one of his companies after the Malaysian island's name.
Langkawi, is noted for its legends and beautiful views, It has excellent beaches, abundant marine life and offers an idyllic retreat from the urban jungle. A duty-free port, this island of scenic, tranquil landscapes, has become a favorite destination for local and international visitors alike. It has become a tranquil hideaway, with shimmering blue waters, sun kissed beaches and swaying casuarinas trees. This tropical paradise's landscape is painted with miles and miles of white sandybeaches, marbled mountains, vast paddy fields and rural villages, secretcaves, and pockets of virgin rainforests dating back millions of years. About the Founder / CEO The founder is was born in Sri Lanka, and completed his BBA (Specialized in Online Marketing) in Malaysia, and continued his MBA in the UK. He has a variety of work experience from UK, Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran Sri Lanka and India. And not to mention he was also a Russian Merchant Navy Officer among the Russian Tankers. He currently resides in the UK, and operates his businesses throughout UK, Canada, United States, Cuba, Mexico, Spain, Sri Lanka and Singapore. He fosters an open door policy to all his employees, and maintains a safe and fun team working atmosphere. |

About the Director The Director was also born in Sri Lankan, but has now been a Canadian Citizen for the last 24 years. She has been educated in Canada & the US. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Management. She has over 15 years of solid experience working in E Business in IBM. She has been with Langcavi for the past 3 years. She is in charge of operations while the CEO is away. She supports the idea of going green, and Langcavi's social responsiblity towards the environment. |

Our Achievements
A - 15 Jan 2010 – Highest number of viewers for a single campaign per day - 56,311 viewers for UNP Presidental election campaign. Last highest record was 49,347 on 1st Sep 2009 for a Holiday Plan Advertisement.
B - 5 Jan 2010 - 1st Anniversary for operating virtually without seeing customers face to face physically for 1 year. All processes were done through email, internet & chat. Great example for going green. No paper quotations, no paper invoices, no paper receipts, all are digital and sent through Email & the Internet.
C - 18 Nov 2008 – Sri Lanka Telecom Technical Division contacted us and informed we are the top most number of emails sending people in Sri Lanka according to their data center. Also more than 1000 advertisement emails were going out from one account in one minute. This is more than 3 times higher than the 2nd person in Sri Lanka. SLT requested us to reduce emails to 30% (300 emails / minute)
D - 10 Aug 2008 – Received 53 calls in a 4 hour gap for a vacancy advertisement
E – 08 Jun 2008 – Reached 25,000 web visitors to our web
F - 21 Oct 2007 – Reached 500 clients in the client list
G - 12 May 2007 – From Google head office somebody visited 4 pages in our web site and spent 12 minute in our web.
H – 27 Oct 2005 – For The Sri Lankan Presidential Election because of one party’s president election email campaign, opposing party made 47 threatening calls in same day and requested to stop other party’s email campaign. (Which was actually a paid advertisement campaign)
